French Silk pie is deliciously amazing, but the worst part of making it is beating the eggs long enough....I'm horribly impatient when it comes to beating stuff long enough....
This was my mom's birthday request last year and this year...
2009
2010...Tasted better because I forced myself to beat the eggs longer. The taste was worth it.
Last year as I was pondering what in the world I wanted to do with my future and what God wanted me to do with my future, I realized that I wanted to start a cafe. I began researching all the steps that need to be taken prior to beginning a cafe. That is when I realized that I needed to go to Culinary Arts school. In October I will begin my culinary excursion and hopefully learn many useful cooking skills. I plan on proving that you do not need to get fat to go through Culinary School. This blog is going to contain any exciting things I learn or any exciting recipes I create. I love food, and I am almost always in the mood to bake something new........just..not always in the mood for cooking something......So as you can see, it is going to be a challenge not to get fat...but alas! I will do it!
My name is Esther Ilgenfritz. If you don't know me, and even if you do, you will probably find this site immensely boring, but I just had the urge to record my food history from now on..of course not all of it....that would be MORE than immensely boring..but some of it...I'm honored that you're here although I do wonder why...Now that I've discredited myself several times...
I hope to someday open up the candy-themed Gumdrop Cafe. First I am going to build up my knowledge on the arts of Culinary.
